When I decided the trip to Okinawa, I felt so happy because the trip with my mother! My mother loves traveling so she has been to all prefectures of Japan except Okinawa! Okinawa is south islands of Japan and very popular place for trip, so I didn’t know why she didn’t go there 😉 Okinawa trip was her dream. Thus I decided I go to Okinawa with my mother on my mother’s birthday!
The Busena Terrace Hotel: I was thrilled to stay there because the hotel was the place I wanted to stay someday. When we arrived at the Busena Terrace, it was cloudy because of rainy season in Okinawa. But still good We enjoyed afternoon tea and had breakfast overlooking beautiful sea and palm trees. I loved that!
Churaumi Aquarium: This is the one of the most popular place in Okinawa. We went to there at evening to avoid the crowd. The aquarium has huuuge water tank and we can see Whale sharks and Mantas there. My mother loves the whale area, and we were watching them the whole time until the aquarium would close 😉
Kourri-jima(i,e,Kouri-island): Until I saw the pictures of the place, I felt I have to go there! There is beautiful sea and a long bridge across the emerald green sea. Unfortunately, it was still not good weather, however we enjoyed the island.
Café Kurukuma: There is amazing view from the café! The café is the top of the hill, so we can see a beautiful sea as far as the eye can see. In the café, if you eat food (e.g. lunch or dinner), you need to sit in inner place of café. However when you have just drinks or sweets, you can enjoy at terrace. So I think it is better choice to get just drinks and sweets in the café because the terrace is sooo good!
Hyatt Regency Naha: The hotel is in good location for sightseeing of Naha. We can take a walk to Kokusai Street that there are many souvenir shops and restaurants on each side of from the hotel. We used Regency Club Lounge it was also good. From the lounge, we can look over Naha city. (There are many old buildings) And then, I celebrated my mother’s birthday in our room! The staff brought her the birthday cake surprisingly. I was glad to see my mother was happy🙂
Makishi-kousetsu-ichiba(Makishi-public-market):The market is called ”the kitchen of Naha, Okinwa” This place is not so clean but it is interesting for us especially fishes. Many fishes we have never seen were sold in the market place. The color of fish is very colorful and surprisingly they are all edible. We ate blue fish there.

母と沖縄へ行ってきました♪母にとっては初めての沖縄。ずーっと沖縄に行きたがっていたので、母の誕生日プレゼントをかねて沖縄に旅行へ行くことに決めました。旅行好きの母は今回沖縄に行って、47都道府県全制覇になったよう^^ 人気観光地の沖縄にだけなぜ行ってなかったのかが不思議です（笑）
ザ・ブセナテラス：前から一度泊まってみたいと思っていたホテルだったので、泊まれることになって本当に嬉しかったです。到着した時は、沖縄の梅雨の時期ということもあり、残念ながら曇り空でしたがやっぱり素敵なホテルでした。沖縄の海を見ながらの朝食、そしてアフタヌーンティーは最高でした！
美ら海水族館：定番の美ら海水族館へ。私たちは混雑をさけるためにも夕方から入館。やっぱりあの有名なジンベイザメとマンタがいる巨大な水槽は圧巻でした。閉館近かったせいか、メインの水槽の前にも人が数人いるかいないかの状態でラッキーでした。母もあの水槽は大のお気に入りで、２人で閉館の時間までずっと水槽を眺めていました。
古宇利島：初めて写真を見たときからずっと行ってみたい場所でした。エメラルドグリーンのきれいな海に長い橋がかかっている見たかった光景を実際に見ることができました。残念ながらこの時も天気にはあまり恵まれませんでしたが、楽しんできました^^
くるくまカフェ：ここは絶景でした！一面に広がるきれいな海を見ながらのカフェタイム・・最高です♡ このカフェは食事をする場合は店内で、ドリンクとデザートのみであればテラスの席へ案内してもらえます。そのため私はここのカフェではドリンク＆デザートのオーダーがおすすめです♪（でもここのカレーもとってもおいしそう・・笑）
ハイアットリージェンシー那覇：国際通りも徒歩圏内で便利な立地にあります。ハイアットなので、もちろん部屋もごはんもサービスもよかったです。今回はクラブラウンジも使わせてもらいましたが、那覇市内を一望しながらの食事もよかったです。（那覇市内は古い建物が多いので絶景！という感じではないと思いますが・・笑）あと母の誕生日のお祝いもしました。誕生日当日の朝に、スタッフの方が私たちの部屋までサプライズでケーキを持ってきてくれました。喜んでもらえたみたいでよかったです。
牧志公設市場：沖縄の名産がたくさん売られていて楽しい場所でした。那覇の台所とも呼ばれているそう。特に東京辺りでは見ない、青や黄色の色とりどりの魚が売られていて、そしてその場で食べることもできました。私たちは青い魚を食べました^^ 味はそこまで変わった味もせず、白身のお刺身でした。
