Bali is new country for us. Thus I was looking forward to exploring towns and heritage of Bali! We love to explore new places😉 In this time, we stayed in Jimbaran area which is southern part of Bali, so it is bit far from hotel to big town area like Ubud. But we really wanted to explore Bali, so we did!
At first, we arrived at “Goa Gajah” It is also called Elephant cave. We stopped here quickly because it is not so big to see. There are beautiful cave entrance, temple and lovely garden. The cave had unique appearance and I liked it! I heard the inside of the cave was used for meditation. When you enter to Goa Gajah, you need to get sarong if you wear short pants or skirts.( It is not good to show lot of skin). But don’t worry; the sarong fee is included in entrance fee. It was nice and worth for a quick visit😉.

バリ島は初めて訪れる国でした。私たちは新しい場所を開拓するのが大好きなので、バリの町や遺跡を回るのはとても楽しみにしていました。今回はジンバラン地区に滞在していたので、ウブドなどの大きめの街まででるのは少し時間がかかることが分かっていましたが、どうしても街の散策もしたかったので、街や遺跡も楽しんできました♡
まず、私たちが着いたのは、ゴアガジャという遺跡でした。象の洞窟とも呼ばれているそうです。こちらはあまり大きくないので、そんなに時間をかけてみる場所ではありません。ユニークな洞窟と、寺院、お庭がありました。この洞窟の入り口にある彫刻は独特で私は好きでした^^ちなみにこの洞窟は、昔は瞑想するために使われていたそうです。ゴアガジャに入るには、ショートパンツやスカートをはいている場合はサロンを身につける必要がありますが、入場料を払えばただで貸してもらえます。ちょっと寄る場所としてはいい遺跡でした^^
