I know I need to summarize about Mt. Fuji spots because I got many messages about them on Instagram. We went to Mt Fuji spots over 10 times in a year. So I think I can share about our experience. It’s not perfect, but I will try to put them together clearly. I hope this post will be helpful for you!
約１年で１０回以上富士山スポットに行ったと思います。インスタグラムでも富士山のことについて質問をいただくことが多いので、まとめてみました。完璧なものではないですが、少しでもお役に立てればと嬉しいです^^
First of all, if you want to see snow-capped Mt. Fuji, you need to avoid summer season (around Jun to September) ! And you sometimes can’t see Mt. Fuji easily because of the weather.(This is not only summer, all season.) He is very shy! When there are clouds, Mt Fuji hides behind of clouds. So if you have extra time to stay in Japan, I think you should have flexible days just in case.
まず、当たり前のことですが（笑）もし雪がかぶっているザ・富士山！というような写真を撮りたい場合は、６月〜９月くらいの夏は避けます。もちろん夏は夏で赤富士が綺麗ですし、楽しみ方もいっぱいあります。そして富士山は本当にすぐ雲に隠れてしまうことを肝に命じておきましょう。富士山見に行ったのに肝心の富士山が見えないということは頻繁す（´-`）

I think Fuji Yoshida is the great city to see Mt. Fuji. In this city, there are many places you can see him.
富士山スポットは、たくさんありますが、まずはスポットが凝縮してる山梨県の富士吉田市がおすすめです。
◯Arakurayama Sengen Shrine（新倉山浅間公園）
If you have planed to travel to Japan, you might have seen this spot. Now it is a very popular Mt. Fuji view point especially cherry blossom season. The photos taken in Arakurayama Sengen Shrine is now kind of Japanese icon photo. If you go there during cherry blossom season, be sure to remember it is very crowed. During the season, this view spot is packed even at dawn. But in not cherry blossom season, it is no busy and you can still see an amazing Mt Fuji from here! Mt Fuji and the pagoda match very well.
新倉山浅間公園から撮る、富士山、桜、忠霊塔の写真は今や日本の代名詞というべき写真となっているくらい人気のスポット。ここは年々桜の時期は人の混雑が増しているようで、今年（2019年）の桜の時期に訪れた際は朝５時でも展望台がギュウギュウで入れないくらい人がいました・・。さらに時間が経つと展望台に入るのに何時間も待たないといけない事態だったようです。もちろん桜の時期は綺麗ですが、通常の時でも富士山と忠霊塔の写真はとても美しいです。
〇Fuji Yoshida Honcho Nichome street（ほんちょう２丁目商店街）
This street became famous after featuring on Instagram. The retro atmosphere and big Mt Fuji’s combination is great.
こちらの写真スポットはインスタグラムで、とても人気になった場所。ダイナミックな富士山とレトロ感が残った商店街が海外の方からもとても人気のようです。
〇Kanadorii（金鳥居）
Actually Kanadorii is at same street of Fuji Yoshida Honcho Nichome street( but they are not same street name) This torii gate is also called ichi-no-torii which literally means first torii gate. In old days, it is first gate to climb Mt. Fuji.
実はさきほどの、ほんちょう２丁目商店街と同じ道路です。商店街からさらに富士山側にすすむと見えてくるのがこの金鳥居。別名｢一の鳥居｣とも呼ばれているそうです。吉田口登山道を登っていくと富士山頂にたどり着けるのですが、一番初めにくぐる鳥居ということで、そのように呼ばれているそう。
Of course there are bunch of Mt Fuji spots except Fuji Yoshida!
もちろん富士吉田以外にもたくさんの富士山スポットあります！
〇Oshino Hakkai （忍野八海）
Oshino Hakkai is a small village with 8 ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji. It filters down the mountain through layers of lava. The water flowing from Mount Fuji is crystal clear. The ponds look like glass! I didn’t want to leave here. It is a touristy spot, so early morning is best time to visit!
忍野八海（おしのはっかい）は、山梨県にある湧泉群。富士山の雪解け水が地下の溶岩の間で、約20年の歳月をかけてろ過され、湧水となって8か所の泉を作っているそうです✨どの池の水もすごく綺麗で透き通っていてびっくりしました。ずっと見ていられるほど美しかったです。
〇Saiko Iyashino-Sato Nenba
This place stands on the site of a former farming village on the western shores of Lake Saiko. The village was destroyed by typhoon in 1966. Forty years later the village’s traditional thatched roofed houses were reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where people can learn about the culture. And it costs only 1000 yen to rent Japanese traditional clothing here.
西湖いやしの里根場は、1966年に台風で壊滅的な被害を受けたそうです。40年の月日を経て台風前にあった美しい茅葺き屋根が並んでいた風景を再現した場所とのこと。着物などの衣装が1000円で借りられます。
〇Obuchisasaba（大淵笹場）
This is a tea plantation in Shizuoka prefecture.This is good combination with Mt,Fuji! But please don’t enter this field 🙂
静岡県富士市にある富士山と茶畑の眺望スポットです。
〇Lake Yamanaka （山中湖）
Lake Yamanaka is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes. You can see swans at this lake. Not only swan boats in this picture, of course real ones too!
富士五湖の中で１番大きな山中湖。ここは白鳥がいるというのが大きな特徴です。
〇Lake Kawaguchi （河口湖）
Lake Kawaguchi is most popular lake, out of the Fuji Five Lakes because there are many shops and hotels around here. In spring, you can take cherry blossom and Mt. Fuji photos. In autumn, you can take colored leaves and Mt Fuji photos around here.
河口湖は富士五湖の中で１番にぎわっている湖。お店やホテルなども河口湖の周りにたくさんあります。春には桜と富士山、秋には紅葉と富士山を映せる写真スポットがあります。
〇Lake Shoji（精進湖）
I personally love this lake because it is very quiet and peaceful. The Fuji from this place is called Kodaki Fuji that means parents and child Fuji. It is because the small mountain before Mt Fuji looks like child of Mt Fuji.And if you go to Lake Shoji, I recommend Yamadaya hotel that is in front of Lake Shoji. It is little old and small hotel, but staffs are very kind. You can use the private onsen and the view is amazing!
個人的に好きなのが精進湖。とても人も多くなく静かで、ダイナミックな富士山が見られるので好きです。またオススメなので精進湖の前にある山田屋ホテルさん。ここからの貸切温泉は富士山が見られて絶景です。
〇Lake Tanuki（田貫湖）
Lake Tanuki is a very small lake comparing other lake. But it is also great point to see Mt.Fuji.
他の湖に比べるととても小さな湖。この湖も富士山を写真を撮るにはとても良い撮影ポイントです。
〇Hanano Miyako park（花の都公園）
In this park, you can enjoy flowers and Mt. Fuji collaboration. From spring to summer, many types of flowers are blooming here.Sun flowers are out of the entrance, so you can visit there whenever you like. Beautiful Red Fuji is only in early morning especially during summer to early autumn.
花の都公園には春から夏にかけてさまざまなお花が咲きます。いろんなお花と富士山のコラボレーションが楽しめます。夏に楽しめるひまわり畑は入り口の外にあるので、何時からでも楽しめます。夏は早朝に見られる赤富士がオススメです。
